The Excel and Ready Community Program was founded during the 2021/2022 school year as a pilot program. Given the pilot program's success, a board of directors was created, culminating with the filing and establishment of a legal entity on January 30, 2024. In February of 2024, IRS granted ERCP exemption under Section 501(c) (3.).
From the launch of the pilot program, the primary goal of the organization has been to eradicate the educational gap that continues to widen between well-founded and minority communities. With this mission in mind, students receive help completing their homework, and missing assignments. They are strongly encouraged to complete additional reading and math work. Beyond
academics, students engage in recreational activities, including judo, art projects, knitting, outings, and other enrichment activities aimed at exposing them to the world beyond their classrooms.
At Excel and Ready, we believe that learning should be engaging, interactive, and fun. That's why our mission is to reduce the education gap and increase scholastic leadership within disadvantaged communities.
The learning path should not be static. We aim to make it as flexible as possible for all our students.
That's why our vision is to enhance math and English proficiency while providing a supportive and inclusive community where students can thrive.
Our team consists of experienced members with different professional backgrounds who are dedicated to helping students achieve their goals.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission.
